In my practice, I use an integrative approach to customize the best massage experience for you. This may include Swedish massage, deep tissue massage techniques, myofascial release, stretching, aromatherapy, application of pain relief products, and other modalities as needed. Please note that I charge by session length and not by the modality performed, as I believe that most people will benefit by a combination of techniques. Unlike many spas and franchises, you will never see an upcharge from me for deep tissue massage or product application.
People sometimes ask me, “What is the difference between therapeutic massage and other types of massage?” The best answer I can give is that “therapeutic massage” is a catch-all term to describe massage which is customized for each individual’s needs.
